<p>Michael Jasper grew up in the small town of Dyersville, Iowa, home of “The Field of Dreams.” Jasper is the author of <a href="http://www.librarything.com/work/5381589">A Gathering of Doorways</a>, <a href="http://www.librarything.com/work/4274204">The Wannoshay Cycle</a>, and <a href="http://www.librarything.com/work/4724820">Heart&#8217;s Revenge</a> (under the pen name Julia Porter). His short stories have been published in Asimov&#8217;s Science Fiction Magazine, Strange Horizons, Writers of the Future 16, and many other publications.</p>
